Literature Text
Life is transient,
as fleeting as the seasons
but tenfold in passion.
You and I are one,
just one in the crowd.
What would really happen,
if I were never born?
My shoulder, always there,
is suddenly gone.
You find yourself
alone,
crying into your lap
and wishing,
for someone to hold you
and fill the hollow that's left.
If just to avoid loneliness
anyone will do.
I'm not the only one,
who can set your sheets ablaze
and make, feeling tainted,
oh so right.
He'll teach you love
and he'll get it wrong.
Would you cry for me?
If one day you woke,
without my arms around you
and found yourself wanting,
missing me there.
Do I matter enough;
to stop you're life,
even for just a second?
In a world without me:
Maybe you're happier.
Maybe you're sadder.
Maybe your parents are still together.
Maybe mine are too.
Maybe you would trade me in for a wish.
Maybe I am that wish.
Maybe the world doesn't need me.
Maybe you don't either.
But that's not the point.
A world without me
just wouldn't be the same,
but it's not like you'd notice.
You don't know what you've got
even when it's gone,
but then again,
neither do I.

Magic
Come with me,
And you will see,
The magic inside -
Where fires tell stories,
Words have meaning,
And honor is love -
Where games connect,
Songs speak,
And peace is everywhere -
This is my love,
My home,
And my world -
Where if you need a friend,
Then I will come,
And there is many more,
Where I come from -
This is real,
Not a dream,
So come and see,
The magic,
With me.
Literature
Twinkling
Up and up we fly,
Far away, into the sky;
We live our life,
Wandering free,
Among the clouds,
Looking down upon thee.
A glimpse into your life,
As we pass by.
Glancing into your window,
And seeing the treasure hidden inside.
The stars upon your walls,
Twinkling, they cast light across the room.
A pause to admire, then we fly,
Back to our nests, nestled against the sky.

I dreamt I fell in love with a man who loved the sea,
half his house was submerged underwater,
I spent every moment loving him, terrified.

This poem was very beautiful! You did a lovely job with it, and the opening lines are very eye catching. It's a powerful opening to a well written poem. The ending lines were also very well composed and meaningful. You worked well with the theme, and thank you for entering the One Factor Contest!
